Was thinking the same thing yesterday. Things might pick up toward the season opener. I hope.
I hope a lot of folks make it back. With UKFB's recent issues, I could see the forum transfer being the final straw.
He's hoping folks stick around.
There was a lot of posting before the move. Several were saying they were going to WCN. Many havenāt made it here for sure
I can confirm quite a few of the old members are now over at WCN. Many are also on a newly created Discord. Quite a few have joined both. I hate change. We had the best UK sports forums on the net. Now it has been fragmented and broken apart, with its members scattered about. And for what? All because someone had $$$ in their eyes. Guess who the real losers are? Yup. The fans.
So far this is reminding me more of what happened to the 247 board after they went to a pay-to-post subscription model. Iām guessing that was 8-10 years ago. That board was pretty active but now virtually none of the posted threads even break into double digits.
The cutover to the new format, while not without glitches, wasnāt as bad as it could have been, and so far at least, the concerns about having to pay to post are unfounded, at least for now.
That being said, itās clear the traffic on this board has dropped significantly. I donāt claim to be Gods gift to this board, but Iāll try to do my part to stay engagedā¦.. but if the board doesnāt pick up when the season starts you wonāt be seeing very much of me.
Just not a ton to talk about but SEC MEDIA Days and camp is just around the corner.
I believe once word gets out to more that people are able to post for free here, start to lurk to see how things are going. Members will start coming back around the time the season starts. This one took a minute to get used to, but I'm enjoying it here.

I haven't been able to sign in until I altered my screen name. Funny my post count did transfer. My guess but I'm thinking many old names are having trouble signing in.
There isn't much to talk about. People also aren't super high on expectations this year. As someone else mentioned, the old board members are fragmented to several new sources of posting.
