Amazing performance. The young guy on acoustic behind TP and Prince is George Harrison's son.

I thought this thread would tell me that Mr Amukamara was retiring to be the DC for SF.

Edit: when SF becomes NU head coach next month. Just to clarify Smokin

UCF already has a very competent DC in coach Chinander. Maybe SF will give Mr Amukamara (when he retires) a job as a quality control assistant much like he did for Barrett Ruud.

I hear the guitar has been spotted numerous times by the International Space Station.

No mention of Petty or Jeff Lynne? Prince is a great talent, but his music has never really done much for me. Love both Petty and ELO.

Great performance on this one though! When they catch him when he falls back reminds me of the scene in "This is Spinal Tap" where they are trying to pick Nigel Tufnel up after his guitar solo, and they can't pick him up...

I don't care that people make fun of this song. I could listen to it every day for the rest of my life. One of the coolest guitar solos ever.

I love that the band was overwhelmed by the production and arrangement of the song.
With Ann Wilson singing, Jason Bonham on the drums and with the choir, it makes a pretty good production. Saw the Led Zepplin Experience with Jason Bonham a while back, he played the Moby Dick drum solo on his father's drums, in unison with a video of his father playing behind him. Pretty cool.

Sorry, I can't stand the original or that rendition. Not sure which is worse. The only AC/DC I can listen to is AC/DC with Bon Scott, and some of the Back in Black album.

You don't like their Christmas album?

Don't be sad. :D I just never liked that song to begin with, and dislike the cello version even less. Could never stand Brian Johnson's voice either. Bon Scott is the true voice of AC/DC.

I didn't mind Brian Johnson, but I agree....Bon Scott was wayyyy better. If You Want Blood....the live album, still a favorite of mine. Might have to dig that CD out later....;)

I seen ac/dc backing up cheap trick at the civic auditorium, like 30 days before bon scott died.
stood about 10 ft from angus young and 10 ft from the amps..

I seen genesis backing up head east, at the music hall, for like $7.50...
genesis went on to make serious bucks..

OMG! I agree with Redwine65 on something. SRV best guitarist of all time. That guy is my favorite artist of all time. I can't say enough great things about SRV. When he fingered his "First wife" everyone would just sit in awe!

ps- his "First wife" was the name of his guitar. they also called it, "The One"

when they are really good guitarists it's like apples and oranges, you have your usual suspects like hendricks, vaughn, page, gilmore, lifeson, van halen, howe, blackmore, walsh, trower, beck, etc.

I implore people to go bank and watch that original beautifully done rendition of "Stairway to Heaven," then turn around and watch the "Heart butcher's S to H" version. I've gone back and watched it 5 or 6 times, and every time I laugh so hard I have tears in my eyes and my sides are killing me. That is FREAKING HILARIOUS!!

I think that song is probably the greatest rock song ever made. I call it great taste!
