Q was running at 80% speed during warm ups and doing lay-ups (not dunks) and his outside shot form looked good (but that will never be his bread and butter). I thought he moved well and I was pleased to see it. He showed off impressive dribbling skills and has been carrying a ball everywhere (I saw him in Gatton student center twirling a ball on his finger like a globe trotter) and so if he does see time at the floor, he could most def bring the ball up the court like Amari.

^I think this happened before coach McLean told him to stop.

I just watched the pro day. Lowe looked really good. Most people didn't realize he had a broken ring finger on his shooting hand last year and played through it, hence the poor 3-point percentage. Should see a big jump this year in that department. Hawthorne was impressive as well. Can't wait to see him next season with another year of development/weight training, etc.

My pro day take aways (don't know what pilgrim was watching).

Most likely to never pass and put up a contested 3 pointer: J Johnson
The rare unicorn award: Hawthorne
Best 3 point shooters: T Noah, Collins
Surprised they could hit the three: Hawthorne
A minus: MMoreno, probably the player that suprised me the most, he got game and he's 7 foot.
B plus: MD, Lowe,
B: Aberdeen, Cam, Garrison, Jelavic

I actually think MMoreno showed excellent passing, hit his free throws, and I believe he's got better low post game than Garrison. Like Townes, he more fluid in low post. So he was the player that surprised me the most.
Agree. I can't believe Pilgrim did not mention Moreno.

I tried to tell everyone about Lowe from the time he committed. He’s going to be unreal for us. I made a scouting report from him months ago talking about his speed, passing and handling skills being elite.
One of my Louisville friends was so mad when he committed. He was like that guy killed us last year.

I love his game!
Hope he sticks around a couple years. He's the type of player Nova killed with during their runs. Lower rated guys with high ceilings that needed strength and seasoning. Then year after year a few more got ready and kept there NC runs alive.

Sad to not see Chandler on there but that’s a solid 8 man rotation right there. Add Garrison and Chandler and that’s a 10 legit player rotation.
Like the other poster mentioned but idk what Jack was watching…CC was knocking down 3s and playing solid D in the one on one drills.

JQ was the biggest standout to me. The work he's clearly put into his body is going to have a tremendous payoff for him. He's going to be even more athletic with his lighter frame yet he'll carry over the physicality he already had. He is SEC ready even coming off the injury.
