NC State OC went to Cardinal Mooney HS with Stoops and Marrow.

I’m sure he likes them and more importantly trusts them with Devin and shared that with the Leary family.

Stoops and Beck have known each other a long time. I am not sure if they are close, but I know they respect one another. I do not know if this had anything to do with Leary choosing Kentucky, but it could not have hurt.

Dang, how many coaches and good players have came through that school??? Just imagine all those D1 coaches in one school at one time.

Stoops (& Marrow) have proven to be networkers, which is crucial for a school like UK. Leary is latest example.
