PSU’s special teams concern me somewhat in this game and ND’s are very good

PSU basically gets no yardage at all in their punt returns. I think Ryan Barker has been ok, I get nervous with any kick at 40 yards for him (Oregon game). Riley Thompson punted pretty good but when he “rolls out” to punt it rugby style can be an adventure, We saw ND get the kickoff return TF against Georgia and they went after every Georgia punt aggressively so much that they actually had 2 running into the kicker penalties but they still attacked. Their FG has been good lately too.

True

However the primary concern as I see it Allar's ability to read and pickup the blitz

-Boise had basic blitz packages and to be fair Drew looked like a deer in the headlights most of the time--- no hot receiver to be found
-Golden runs and NFL style scheme with complicated blitz packages and are very disciplined defensively
*an effective screen game should be utilized but yet we saw how many times Drew not take the open screen guy when available and even then the screen wasn't even called for most of the game for either playoff game(looking at you AK... backs used for blocking instead of an outlet)

4 Catches to the backs vs SMU
0 Catches to the backs vs Boise

I can see ND blocking a punt in this game. Thompson scares me when he does the sprint out before punting.

Everything concerns me. If our boys put their shoes on the correct feet, it’s a win.
