I have a lot on my schedule today, so I'm setting this up in advance. Please use this thread for pre-match, in-match, and post-match discussions about the PSU vs. Northern Iowa match.

When: Dec. 20, 7 pm EST

PBP: Unfortunately, I've got an event that I can't miss this evening, so I'm completely out for the NIU dual. Here's hoping that some of you will step forward and provide some PBP. As a reminder to those that provide PBP, please post the score at the end of the match, as well as the team score after each match.

Scoreless after the first three minutes.

Second period
Teske escaped for 1-0’ lead. Campbell has a stall warning. Nothing else of note.

Third period
Campbell down to start the third. He is unable to escape. Teaske gets the riding time point but that’s it.

2-0 Teske

1st period
RBY circles in for the first takedown of the night. Cuts and then gets a takedown with second seconds left. He leads 4-1 after one.

2nd period
RBY is down to start, and he escaped and gets a takedown to 7-1. RBY caught him, flattened him, and pinned him in 4:34. I’m only listening but sounded like it happened fast and was impressive. I’ll watch social media for video.

RBY wins by fall.

141 Nick Lee v Happel

1st period
Radio broadcast came back late, but it’s 4-1 Lee in the first period. Happen has a stall warning. Lee turns him for four near fall points and an 8-1 lead with 30 seconds to wrestle. The first period ends there.

2nd period
Lee is quickly out to 9-2. After the escape he shoots in with a double for an 11-1 lead. Cuts to 11-2, and gets a takedown just a quickly for 13-2. Thats the end of the second. Lee has over three minutes of riding time.

3rd period
Neutral to start. Lee takedown, and an escape. 15-3. Another takedown, 17-3. Lee cuts to 17-4. Lee can’t get another takedown, and it’s an 18-4 major decision for Lee.

1st period
No score after the first three minutes.

2nd period
Lara reverses for a 2-0 lead early in the second period. Bartlett then escapes and crushes a double leg for a 3-2 lead. Lara than escapes to 3-3 with 1:10 left in period two. It’s 3-3 after two.

3rd period
Bartlett down to start the third. He escaped to 4-3 quickly. That’s the final score.

PSU 13, UNI 3 after 149.

2) Holshlag takes bottom. Negron has the cradle. Trying to turn. Cael telling him how!
Stalemate. Negron tight waist. Holschlag up. Escape . 1:12 RT. Negron reshot . Has Holsclag over his shoulders. Aggressive and strong! End period. Bloid time UNi. 1-0 UNI

3) Negron chooses bottom . Out fast! 1:06 RT. Shoots. Heavy on the head. Counter TD by UNI after Negron shot. Escape. 2-3. UNI another takedown . 2-5. Ride out. Damn kid aggressor whole match. Cradle? Damn . Raw but talent! PsU 13-6 UNI

We definitely need transfers for 157 and 165 if we want to beat Iowa…..Just reality….
