Nice player and a great kid. Congrats to him on the free ride to Stanford.
On the other hand, your reference to his other offers is misleading. He did not have commitable offers for 2016 from either Md., G-Town or NU. That's why he initially re-classified to 2017. The kid needed another year of development while confronted with a wait-n-see approach from the schools he was interested in. When Stanford ponied up for 2016, it was a no brainer. Definitely not yet the type of player you normally associate with a 4 star rating. He may get there though. A very committed and hard working young man.
