Punting on 4th and 12 = Joker punting on 4th and 2.

I was kinda starting to have some hope with Stoops.

But I'll be damned if that pooch punt BS isn't just like that gutless 4th down decision that Joker pulled in 2010.

A complete loser mentality.

If nothing else, throw up a damn Hail Mary into the end zone.

You're right; it's just the same. Getting 12 yards is exactly the same as getting 2. One is just as easy as the either. [eyeroll]

Yardage doesn't make a damn difference.

It's what kind of attitude you have. An aggressive, want to win mentality. Or just keep it close and hope the other team screws up.

UK football needs aggression.

The line between aggression and stupidity gets blurred far too often. Kentucky is simply not a team that can drop back and get 12 yards on a pass when everyone knows it's coming. The line doesn't pass protect well enough; the QB isn't accurate enough; and most important, our receivers flat out suck.

Now kicking the field goal from the 1 or 2 yard line instead of going for it in the first half, that's certainly worth complaining about. That's where the aggression should have come.

We'll just have to agree to disagree.

UK is down 19 on the UT side of the field.

What does punting accomplish? UT has already shown they can go the length of the field in a heartbeat against our D.

Show some balls and heave it into the end zone.

We got a net of 20 yards at most on the play with no chance to keep the offense on the field. Conservative play call considering the defense has no ability to stop the other team.
