I will defend some Boilers that had to put up with the "why would he stay at your ****** program when he could come home" posts. But some of them also took the same attitude toward us. I'm kind of new at this. But I'm learning who I don't want to be like in my own fanbase.

I think Brohm was in a no-win situation. And to a degree he probably did us a favor. If he gets a call to the NFL, it would be much easier to leave Purdue than UofL. I think most every reasonable fan understands his decision tonight. But can still feel disappointed. Not betrayed. Just disappointed.

Posting corny *** cuts and continuing stir/talking sh*t is another (not talking to you specifically).

We don't have to defend ourselves, our history, our future, or Purdue. And kicking UoL when they're down is beneath us.

At this point, who cares?? Nothing good can from of it but more piling on insults and degradation of PU. It's over.

Meanwhile, Trinity HS has to close its doors today because a lunatic threatened to burn the school down. They canceled classed today.

Nice to know Purdue has its share of classless fans. Will see how well he actually does. I hope he’s successful for what you’re paying him. Will be fine. Can’t hold the black and red down for long. Just look at our BB program it was in far worse shape.

Why all of the hate for a man simply keeping his word to Purdue and doing what is best for his future ?
He and his family have done so much for your school and now this reaction.

I never got upset with an employee who went on to bigger and better things even though I needed them .

Loyalty has two sides to it and you need to support Brohm in his decision to follow his dream and do what’s best for him .
Not doing so says much more about Brohm s haters than it does about him .

You know that was a public tweet that basically said if Brohm doesn't come, burn Trinity down. I know in this day and age you can't say things like that, but come on. Like your guy said GTFO!
