As soon as that TE broke the tackle and turned the corner I instantly thought of the Dunsmore play.
Good game but really light on defense for my liking. I think Purdue blew their chance by giving up this last TD. If they go 3 and out Tenn could get to FG range in no time. If it goes to OT I don’t think Purdue can keep up.

Purdue D Coordinator should get demoted for leaving his corner on an island on 4th and goal from the 13. Drop 7 guys and make them throw a perfect pass. That call is inexcusable.
Yet another win for the BIG and loss for the SEC. SEC is now 0-5. Beautiful!

I was glad to be wrong, I was rooting for Purdue but they seemed more gassed and less powered on offense and it was more of a Tennessee home game for OT. They did get a break by the ref blowing that 4th down dead while the Tennesee RB was still reaching, which they probably should have let play out another half-second given that it was 4th down on the goal line in OT, and it would have been a TD.
Purdue has to be the most wildly unpredictable team in the Big Ten...fun to watch...a title they're clearly taking off of us.
