Purdue’s Center gets on my nerves and I can’t even explain why.
Remember we beat this Purdue team by 13 points. THIRTEEN. I just thought everyone needed to know..
Like everything about Purdue. 4 seniors who stuck with it. Certainly a home grown team if you look at that roster. Don’t see the big nil HS guys. Even have red shirts. Real united team without the hype. Development. System. Good every year. Supportive fans. Hope they win it.
The refs are letting them play really rough.
Zona did get some bad calls.....
We don't resemble these 2 teams talent. Not even close.
I was hoping Arizona because I felt they had the best chance to beat Duke or UConn.

Seems like they have been taking perimeter defense lessons from us.
Those Big10 teams are tough on defense, Arizona a finesse team...the road may end here for them if they can't run.
Purdue looks like the much better team. Arizona, being picked apart & totally out of sync. Actually seems the ref's aren't falling for the flopping as much now

Thing is Purdue is so efficient on offense but plays at snails pace.

I’m really surprised how much Cluffe and the other Purdue bigs are controlling this game so far. They’re winning the rebounding battle and really limiting the inside scoring, which is critical against an Arizona team that’s been getting some notoriety for barely even attempting the 3. Combine that with Purdue making 7 from downtown themselves, and it’s maybe a bit surprising that the lead isn’t bigger than it is.
I know it’s early, but sure seems like Lloyd is gonna choke away another FF shot. Purdue is dialed in.

I’m amazed at how many high level college basketball players still don’t know how to guard a pick and roll. Purdue is slicing Arizona up on pick and rolls which is surprising to me.
I hate to say it, but I hope so. Arizona is probably the only thing keeping Duke or Uconn from another title.
