Some of us were discussing GC and Brian Wilson last week. This was 1977 I think (the year of Southern Nights). Just a simple live medley w/ a 12 string (to make it harder). At 4:23 you can see why Brian wanted GC on their records, and on the road.

I wonder if this was international waters. Knowing what I know about Shel, I assume it was. These guys were 30x sheryl crow and probably never got a nomination for the sh|tshow in Cleveland.

Friday (6/20) is the birthday of Delores Brooks. She was also known as La La Brooks and as Sakinah Muhammad. She wasn't a founding member, but she became the lead singer for The Crystals after replacing Myrna Giraud, who left the group when she became pregnant. To celebrate, one of their hits where Brooks sang lead:
