The only sports movies that have come out recently I can recall all seem to be about a black player overcoming odds and or segregation. We do need some good ole fashioned sports comedies. Those were great. Goon on Netflix is a more recent pretty solid hockey one.

It would probably be considered a form of child abuse by today’s snowflake parents. On a related note, I met Walter Matthau at King’s Island in 1979 right after I saw the movie for the first time as a 6 year old. I called him Buttermaker, lol.
