Great to see. The happy quote I remember is Q was like 7th in a portal player ranking and the ranking maker said a healthy Q would have been number one.

Only a UK fan could watch a one min video of a guy literally walking about 10 total steps and surmise that as “moving around nicely”. 😂 Never change BBN and RR. Never change.

One of those kids hurts him and I'm letting hands go.

About wearing slides, maybe it actually helps keep his brain from instinctively slipping into full on basketball mode and inadvertently hurting himself. IDK.

Only one injury yesterday to an older Dad or Grandpa early on in one of drills. He went down and was in a brace and crutches. Felt really bad for him...heard that he heard something pop...no bueno.

This was far and away the most expected and involved dad's have been in any camp I've been to since Pitino days. 3on3 dad vs dad tourney that wrapped with 5on5 game at end. I blew my knee out at 26 and that is the most ball I've played in 19 years. Made it to finals but came up a bucket short. PF was a wreck last night but some good stretches have me with a slow walk this a.m.

I'll be that guy -- seems really dumb for him to be screwing around on the basketball court in slides at this early juncture.
Derek Anderson when he played here, blew his knee out in January or early February & the doctors said he was ready to play in the NCAA tournament in late March. Pitino held him out because he was afraid that another knee injury would cost him an NBA career. Quaintance should be 100% by the time our season tips off.

I mean, he's much further ahead than I thought he would be at this point.
After seeing all the chatter on here and youtube videos of analysts and channels talking about him being maybe not being ready for the season, I had him in a full body cast. Heck, he's not even wearing a knee brace.
A lot of people are like you and don't realize people walk and in some cases run and play sports on fully torn ACL's. He is on pace to be fully ready sometime around the first 2-3 months of the season.

Thank you, Dr. JwUKfan11. We needed an expert weighing in.

Guys, he's an 18 year old, in shape, athlete.
You're all middle aged or worse fattys who were never in shape in your life.
You may need the Jaws of life to get off the couch.
He can walk in slides or absorb the impact of a 30 pound bag of bones running top end 2 mph.

He was walking w/o a brace. Like a month or 6 weeks after surgery. That’s plenty normal.

I already knew I loved JQ. But I just figured out who he reminds me of with his whipping hair, his permanent cocky smile, and his constant motion during games. That’s André 3000 on the basketball court. Sign me up.

I’m one that’s thought getting him by January would be a bonus.

But he’s moving around pretty good.

If we get him sooner than January then great!!🏀👍

I was being a bit of a smart ***, but tgere was some truth to it.
Yeah, you can do some things with a torn ACL, but his ACL isn't torn, it's been repaired.
It looks to me like he has made good progress to this point

The team of Brayden, Jayden, Cayden, Hayden, and Tanner sent by UofL undercover are locked in on that knee.

I HATE the “den” names so, so much. In a way it’s a good thing that Gen X used them so frequently, because most of Gen Z and the Alphas won’t touch them with a ten foot pole [when they’ll be naming their own kids]. Some day some Alpha will have to say, “This is my Grandpa Brayden,” and the world will weep.

He’s not really screwing around. He’s doing normal things and you don’t put the guy into a bubble then expect him to show up. It’s a process
