question about NCAA tournament tickets..

this might be a dumb question, but are the tickets handled the same way as Football bowl games? With their be an allotment given to each school?

I know that tournament site runs packages for first and second round games.but wondering if it's better to call NU tickets office on Monday.

There is another thread that answers your question, but the summary is, participating schools get like 400 tickets which go to families and top $ boosters. You need to either go to the NCAA site or brokers for tickets.
