Not sure about any Sooners winning it, but at least 15 Heismans have won the NC so it is NOT a curse like someone told me the other day, saying no Heisman has ever won the NC so I had to look it up. :)

Also, the fact that Baker has been to the Heisman ceremony the past few years means he's used to it and it hasn't affected his bowl performance in the past.

Dad said it was something like Alameda or something, not Parkview.
Almost all of the FB Players lived in Parkview...As the undergraduates, we got the upstairs units...Ugh! The upperclassmen got the ground level, which was fair. Byron and Lynn Searcy lived beneath us. They were good friends with Tommy McDonald and his wife, Ann Campbell, Miss Oklahoma, and Jimmy Harris and his wife Donna Sue Cason, Miss Football, USA. Both of those couples came over most Sunday Nights, for a cook-out. To let you know how broke players were, back in the day, everyone brought their own Hamburger Patties...No one could afford to 'Treat'...Those were the days!

Parkview...600 E. Lindsey...The Remains of those Days...:(

Thanks for the pics and the context. You are nearly identical age as my parents and I could have been conceived and hatched in those units (you know what I mean)

Nothing crazy. Just didn't take the time to compose it well. IF my Dad would have been on the team and the one sharing your love in that timeframe, you actually Could be my Mom...
You know I understood, Perfectly, what you meant...You think I'm an Aggie, or sumthin'?

Naw...It's better this way...If I were your Real Ma, we might have killed each other somewhere on OUr way to Today...:p

Yes Ma'am and Mom (but no on the aggie or killing part) :) My Dad was at the sad game vs the domers in '57 (I got to stay home in the crib) and he didn't go back to another for about 45 years until the Schnelly embarrassment

This one is really throwing me. It's either a player that won a title in 2000 and transferred to another team and won another. Or it's a player that started his career with Stoops, then transferred to a program that won 2 titles.

Has me stumped, even looked it up and cannot find anything.

This is an oldie but good trivia question.Duncan is one, but I can think of at least one other (hint for those who are going nuts trying to get it by now: the person who asked it never specified that both NC's had to have been in football :) )

This. It was a bit of a trick question.
Nate Hybl won a NC Ring in Golf while at Georgia. Then won a NC Ring in Football at OU.
I really tought some of the old-timers (like me) would have known this one.
