likely a belief in socialist economic theory causing wealth redistribution (on steroids) while an election process grounding in heavy government authority and reduced person freedom and security.
I was hoping one our "Democratic Socialist" friends could separate out what they oppose in Socialism since their party doesn't support Bernie's Socialism?
Give them time to ask their leadership for an answer to your question. Will probably have something to do with 'Free' stuff and the environment...

They want us to vote for a Socialist against Trump their own party doesn't support. They can't argue what they disagree with against their party's current front runner, but they'll vote for someone else to keep him from losing to Trump in a landslide.

However, nearly all politicians are not going to tell you exactly what they mean by the terms they use. Ideologs on either side treat this stuff like a religion, just substituting the godhead, dogma, sacred writings, and magisterium with political figures, economic theory, regulations, and the supreme court.
It just amazes then amuzes me none of them can defend what they support or articulate a better alternative as a set of policies to Trump.
What a bunch of wimps.
