If they were moderates they would vote for the Pence side of the ticket and ignore Trump. Harris will be taking over for sickly 78 year old Biden sooner than later if elected.
At this point for me, it is about burning MAGA and Trumpism to the ground so the GOP can rebuild and reposition.....the faster this is done, the better it will be for the party and for America....

With regards to DC and PR, this is a consequence of the GOP failure and all of us will have to take our medicine with this one.....

The EC, since 2000, in only 1 election has the GOP won both the Popular Vote and EC.......I believe the EC only benefits Republicans, but, it will never be dissolved. If the GOP doesn’t change, it may be a generation before the party holds the WH again......

The policy stands in stark contrast to what i surmise as your assertion. The only people believing there isn’t room under this tent to bring solutions are those who need divisiveness and racial segregation to maintain power. Trump’s policies are racially agnostic. Hell, in a lot of cases, quite the opposite of your assertion as they’re directly targeting to benefit minority communities. You know this, but accepting it also means you were and are wrong. You’re more invested in trying to prove your preconceived notions as being true vs accepting you got it wrong. And you did, as I’ve shown you over and over.
The only complaint you have potential legitimacy on is the reduced influx of broad immigration to a more focused acceptance of people who can benefit the sectors we need help in. We can argue this one, because I believe we’re at that point. We’re no longer in need of unskilled labor like we were 100 years ago. We have plenty of that internally.
With respect to the budget, I wasn’t referencing fiscal restraint concerns. I was talking about the allocation of the predominance of the budget towards social programs. In my opinion, there is an irreversible point at which we never can walk back from. I don’t know what that threshold is, my belief is it will be triggered with a socialized single payer system, ultimately altering our budget which will also kill any potential private alternatives. Effectively killing another industry through regulation. Same as what happened to coal and what is planned for O&G. Regulate them into a competitive disadvantage long enough for the shift to occur in power generation and then allowing it to just die due to the decreased demand. The exact scenario we’ve watched unfold with coal is what I think happens across multiple sectors which will force a Govt solution, specifically with healthcare.
You talk in broad strokes, but you’re light on detail. What I read in this post is that you don’t care the ramifications and that all you care about is beating Trump. Damn the outcome. That to me says you’re compromised and shouldn’t be listened to. You’re allowing emotions to override logic and you’re dangerous in that regard.

It’s not division to ask about the intentions of a plan for illegals/amnesty/our border and voting. It’s not division to ask about the EC or packing of the courts. Good rebuttal. My simple point that many including yourself continue to miss is the discussion trap you have fallen into. No doubt there are many things members of both parties may want. But unless there is a chance in hell of it happening, to banter about it is doing nothing productive. It is only divisive. Our country has real problems including the divisive nature of our treating one another. Adding more fuel to the fire isn't useful in my viewpoint. If you disagree with that perspective, ok but you yourself are not interested in the healing of the country. As for me, i’m against court packing and adding states. I think DC deserves representation in Congress, but not statehood.
China is my personal issue this election and one that I’m voting on. The other stuff is just more rationale as to why I think voting for them would be really bad for the country.
