$15.5M to buy him out after this year
$12.0M to buy him out after next year
$8.25M (or $6.6M ???) to buy him out after 2017 season.

I would say he is 98% safe through the 2017 season...pretty sweet deal for the coach; not so good for the school.

Stoops is here through 2017 and maybe longer. Barnhart was going to retain tubby in 2007. He was going to retain joker until the fans made him. After 2017 it all depends on how long our soft *** fan base deals with this. I'm including myself there.

As I said in the other thread, some of you people are putting the cart before the horse. If it gets to the point of the coach being dismissed, then FIRST the eyes should be on the guy who hired him....and who hired the 2 football coaches before him....and who has been ultimately in charge of UK football for 13+ years & produced very few winning seasons.

It is simply inconceivable that Barnhart would be allowed to hire a 4th head football coach, while accepting no responsibility or rebuke for his failed selection of Joker & Stoops (if it got to that bad of a point with our current coach, I hope like hell he can pull this thing out).
