You have rabid, cross-generational fan bases, media revenue that is only going upward (save for Covid), and a favorable labor bargaining agreement that controls human resource costs as a flat % of revenue.
Just look at Jeff Lurie. He was laughed at for paying a record $185 million for the Eagles in the early 90s. They’re now worth $5 billion plus. Private equity firms would be hard pressed to compound money better than that.
I say the Eagles are worth $5billion plus--- alot! if a GD NBA team is worth $6, I would think the Eagles are worth $10 billion min!! That said I dont know what Washington went for recently
