I normally don't do this on here but I figured I would ask - are there any questions you guys have about Kentucky basketball? Would love to try and answer them on the pod/could be good discussion here!

Fair. I've been relatively inactive on here but I was bouncing around on threads and such last season/throughout the summer. I host a podcast underneath the Locked On Network. It used to be hosted by a couple of UK beat writers and was dormant for two years before I took it over... trying to give it some life. There are a few on here who have discussed me before so I've tried to engage a bit!

Is Livingston really the Hulk? Will Collins ever improve or will he remain depressed forever? Is it true that the entire team eats beanie weenie’s after each game and have a farting contest. Will Ugo turn into Ralph Sampson? Will Theiro ever get out of his cage? Do you believe this team can hustle, play defense, shoot a high 3 point %, grow a backbone, and make a run in the tournament. Last one does Cal get a pay raise this year? Oh, 1 more will Cal stay to the end of next year, or stay to the end of his contract, or take the AD job, or be fired, or get another best friend, or bang Ellen before the end of the night.

I'm a history dork is how I know...it's an Indian word that means land of promise or something.

Some tribes called it cain-tuck or cain-tuck-e, some ken-ta-tin...it was generally considered to be a no-mans land for ceremonial and hunting uses.

The natives had already felt the blow of Europeans, by the time colonists settled Kentucky, but I use this fact to discuss the shittiness of Kentucky as a place to live. By the time the colonists were settling the area there were no native tribes living here, only hunting, because this state is kinda shite to live in. Like four months a year where it’s pleasant to be outside. Long, cold, wet, grey winters. Hot, humid, overgrown summers. I love me some Kentucky basketball, but this place is a health hazard.

I always heard it was Cherokee for " happy hunting grounds".

I believe we should all meet at barleycorns, get drunk, and harass each other. We cold play corn hole and the Col. Could bend over and first one that can throw a arrow up his butt gets to buy him a Diet Coke and spend the night trying to pull the arrow out of his butt. Col. Has a long history of getting gerbils removed, so I don’t think he‘d care about being designated as our target.
