All Cats haters please exit stage left. Never seen so many "fans" bail on a team so fast. Embarrassing lack of backbone
Nobody is bailing.

If this team had 4 losses while playing their butts off, we would be right behind the team, but you cannot deny the incredible lack of effort by these players. You see it, right?

How can you expect UK fans to sit here and just ignore what's happening? We just lost by 35 points, because our players didn't care to put in effort. You're cool with that?

You can't blame the fans for what is happening right now with this team. The BBN has done their part and so did the donors. These guys are paid professionals, they are making millions, but playing like it's a charity event. This is unacceptable.

It’s so alarming watching this video…the lack of effort is astonishing! That’s completely on the coach that he allows this BS! Some guys need to be cut and I’m not even joking!

Exactly right. If we were fighting hard and just coming up short then sure there would be some frustration but the support would be there still . Most fans would also be open to the idea of once JQ comes in and we get healthy that we can win the tight games.

Fans have every right to be mad about getting blown out and watching our team give zero effort. Even worse is our coach won't call them out and sit their butts on the bench. How can anyone accept what's going on right now? JQ isn't going to solve the lack of effort and not being able to make a 3 or a layup.

Everyone on here was pretty much behind the team last year even after multiple losses.

These kids aren't robots. Hate to use one of our ex's clichés but it is pertinent here especially with Pope's approach to the game. There is no replacement for using instinct and judgement to get where you want to be when it comes to such a human based endeavor like this. There are way too many intangibles in play for data alone to paint the picture. Read them, listen to them, communicate with them, and really attempt to know them. Support, teach, and then get in their azz when necessary.

Imagine how fast they fold when a real life problem presents itself.

The only thing embarrassing about this is your lack of knowledge about the game of basketball. Even the most novice of fans can see the catastrophic deficiencies on this team as a whole.

I get that there will be people in every fanbase that hate reading negative comments, but in this case, even the Biggest Pope lover, Oweh fan, or Garrison family member can’t possibly be upset at what's being said here.
This is unacceptable. 22 million bucks was spent on this roster, it has top 10 talent, depth and size and we might be the worst power 5 team in the country.
If anyone expects us to sit here, join hands and sing Kumbaya together, that person is in for a massive surprise.
You have to be as blind as Stevie Wonder to not see what's happening. We're not hating on anyone, we're telling it like it is.

Yeah, it's not.like we're trashing a team that is giving everything they have. We are calling out millionaires that are choosing to play like they don't care.
If anyone has a problem with me calling a spade a spade, well, that person might want to buckle up, because this could get really ugly.

Heads need to roll after this failure. Boosters will definietly be diverting most of their NIL to football. Now that we have a hot young coach in there. Who needs booster support to build a serious roster. Even moreso with Indiana's success this year. Boosters probably feel the same way, we do. Why would they give a few more million to Mark Pope? Booster trust has to be close to being gone. He needs to be removed at the end of the year. A commitee should be formed from former players. Maybe Issel and Pat Riley. Get a serious coach in here. Who at least won some type of hardware before being offered.

Lack...of...spine...
What do you mean by this?

Do you not see what's happening on the court? How can you possibly defend this?

How would you feel if you ran a business and your highest paid employees did nothing all day and you lost your job because your employees didn't care and did whatever they wanted instead of getting the job done?

Pope could lose his dream job because a bunch of overpaid players acted like lazy a$$holes?

Pope can’t even begin to fix the issues until the players decide to play together and in order to do that, Pope has to grow a set of balls and hold the culprits accountable.

That's simply the truth.

I don’t see how any fan could reasonably defend this team.

Issel, Walker, Mashburn, Prince, Wall. Multiple all timers, all played for different coaches. They know what it takes in different ways and can give their opinion on the best fit.
