Have not heard word one on who has formally signed this morning. Obviously Caleb Williams was signed. Anybody else find this radio silence a bit mysterious?

Reminds me of that episode of The Office, when they tricked Dwight into believing it was Friday, when it was actually Thursday.

Well just about everybody that was expected to sign today has. Two 5 stars Caleb & Mario, that will play pitch & catch for a few years are both in. It appears that the other two 5 stars both O-Line players Foster & Leigh will announce at a later date. As will 5 star RB Wheaton

Bryce Foster on Friday ... OU & A&M
Camar Wheaton on the 23rd .... OU, Bama, LSU
Tristan Leigh... not until after the 1st of the year

Everyone is in except the ones I mentioned above and .... Byrd.
He is basically todays only mystery. It's OU or SMU and so far no paperwork

Probably seeing how our O-line class shaping up and feels he can start sooner at A&M. The change in CB's immediate after Byrd signing.

I'm now of the understanding that he's a legacy recruit of A&M. Never knew this before. That is a huge obstacle to overcome. Lives in Houston area, the Aggies backyard, and is a Aggie legacy recruit...who are we kidding here? I'd be shocked if he went w/ OU. Having said that, it has to be pretty inviting to see the #1QB, #2WR, & potentially the #1RB & #4OT sign w/ the good guys. That's a helluva a haul.

Byrd played on both sides of the ball as a junior as switched to OL only this past season. Foster is a guard so getting him would be huge. Also Leigh would be the icing on the cake.

Foster is a Mauler, his mom and brother went to aTm, plus he wants to try and be a olympic shot put guy. Byrd is a GREAT get. He has the feet of a Dlinemen and will grow into a tackle.

I think this an offset: no Foster, but we get Leigh and Byrd?

We shall see, looks like a smaller class that is highly regarded.

Byrd = OT
Leigh = OT
Foster = OG

My only concern is that we took Byrd only after Leigh & Foster gave OU notice they were moving on. Byrd was the very last to send over his paperwork this morning. Perhaps I'm wrong. I think we get Leigh but not Foster.

Get on board or good luck to you. I always thought Foster was a long shot; very similar to Hazelwood. Family and legacy stuff. All the more reason for my desire to play a&m in the cotton bowl. Would help give recent evidence of the separation.
