Mike Patrick, longtime ESPN broadcaster, dies

Mike Patrick, who spent 36 years as a play-by-play commentator for ESPN and was the network's first NFL voice for "Sunday Night Football," has died at age 80.

ESPN Thursday football ruled so did the night games on Saturday and you can hear the voice of Patrick when thinking of that.

I remember the food Taste of the Town Todd Blackledge would bring into the booth and Patrick amazed how Blackledge dined on road trips.
