I like Kent. Sure he makes some mistakes sometimes but love the energy. Football is so much slower than basketball, I think he'd be fine but agree I don't think they would bring him in. Hope he stays in hoops long enough to see our first Tourney win

I love Kent. I grew up listening to football games in the glory years when they did not televise all the games. I do not catch many basketball games on the radio, but every time I do it is clear Kent's age is giving him some issues following the action.

He gets every other narrator job, Deadliest Catch, Wicked Tuna, Airplane Repo, and Bering Sea Gold. It's as if no other voice is worthy.

I love Kent. I grew up listening to football games in the glory years when they did not televise all the games. I do not catch many basketball games on the radio, but every time I do it is clear Kent's age is giving him some issues following the action.

This is mostly why I said to bring him back. Nostalgia. He’s the voice of my youth. Listening to all the Husker games in the 80s and early 90s on the radio.

Haven’t really heard him on the basketball broadcasts, so, sorry his age has caught up with him.
