Several random thoughts and suggested changes to make after today’s Bama game
-Give Bama credit. Hard to stop someone that plays so hard and takes and makes shots up to 30’ from the basket
-UK Defensive play is little better than offense.
-Shakeup needed IMO in style of play - can’t hurt
-CMP has already taken all playing time from Trent and Jelly. Aberdeen looks like a player but has not demonstrated that he is on either end of the court. Give JJ an opportunity even though I don’t think he has earned it up to this point
My $.02
- 1st half woes - play Lowe & JQ at start of game.m
- Little movement on offense, but plenty of dribbling - too much 1 on 1, need ball and player movement
- Maybe too much depth and “everybody expects to play” - don’t need 12 players getting minutes if you don’t run and press
- Soft on boards - bigs plus Mo need to be strongly reminded that their playing time will be determined by their willingness to rebound every missed shot!
- No pressing full court - Why not?
- Push ball up floor quickly after a defensive rebound - again why not?, offense is putrid!
