Im not convinced with A&M. They barely beat UT who had 5 TO's and it was at 12th man. I think Ole Miss will take them out.

I have only seen their last 2 games and no idea what they looked like in their early games, but they are flat kicking butt and taking names now, not sure anyone in the country is playing better. Hope they haven't peaked too soon, but Peterson has them going right now.

Couldn't really argue that

East is still not very good

aub may surprise me a finish a little better.

U.K. Could actually end up 4th in the east which would be pretty good considering the mood here a few weeks ago

The sad thing is we can finish 4th and not even make a bowl. If we beat MSU I think that is good for 4th, but without beating anyone else no bowl.

And as far as the playoff today I think it would obviously be Alabama, Clemson, OSU and Michigan. Key word is TODAY. I'm just going what I think the committee would do if they had a ranking this week. Washington is great, but I think the committee would put Michigan in over Washington. Of course come season's end, OSU or Michigan will eliminate the other most likely. So then you got Bama, Clemson, OSU (my pick) and Washington.

They remind me of an SEC team.

you pretty much have to win msu to bowl or it gets into needing a pretty big upset situation

Msu and @ mizzou are both winnable. Ap is a layup of course

The southern miss game really hurt

Sadly it isn't. My thinking is we, the entire East, is getting such poor qb play we just can't get it going. I know Dobbs beat us with a big throw, but I don't think even many of the Vol fans feel his passing game scares defenses inspite of all the talent at WR. Now as a running threat he is an entirely different deal.

Recruiting in the west really is the wild wild west, OM has basically been giving the NCAA the middle finger with their recruiting the last 3 years, AU allows Pat Dye to take recruits to his hunting cabin for a visit. I think OM is going to get hit hard and made an example of. Unlike UNC, they don't have much clout with the NCAA, a smallish school with a small alumni base in one of the poorest states in the country. NCAA can hammer them and it not effect the bottom line very much and they can say we won't tolerate this. If not, fielding a competitive football team will become extremely expensive because kids can just come out say how much it will cost to sign them.
