Guess the #1 Team in Turnover Margin
They have 7 interceptions and 3 Fumble Recoveries and have only lost 1 Fumble for a whopping +9 TOM through 4 games.

Ranked 123rd last year. Progress!

Naw I get it, it's clearly a problem. Maybe they improve, the ACC isn't a great league this year. The Cards want to run the football, so it's possible if they can follow the script they can clean this up a little bit.

Then again, maybe they won't.

Team is coming off a 2-10, there are some problems!

We seem to be doing better in the giveaway area this year. We just haven’t done very good in the takeaway department: 3 recovered fumbles and 0 interceptions.

At this point it’s safe to say that, between the lack of interceptions and the coverage busts, we are struggling in the secondary.

App State was top 15 in country in takeaways the last several years. Guessing Coach Brown goes to work getting this stat changed around.

I think we all understand that there is no margin for error against teams like FSU and ND.
They may not get to that point this season, but they will.

What about the turnover against BC that wasn't - could have been 3 forced turnovers. Something about a whistle not being blown really?
No whistle occurred. Player was stripped falling forward. Ref had a blunder by stating forward progress stopped and made play dead. But the way they spotted the ball indicates it wasn’t a dead play. So it’s a screw up. Should have been Red ball going the other way.
