One thing unsaid in all the different rankings is that while West may not have a single team that is top 10, all the teams may be at least not bad. East has probably bad Indiana and possibly bad Rutgers. At this point, only real possibility of a truly bad West team would be Nebraska if internal chaos that strangles the talent it clearly has.
Winning the West will be an achievement and not a participation trophy for whoever does it.
