It is so weird how the Ravens mirror Louisville football. Giving away games in all ways. Terrible play calling and relying too much on the QB.

I hope Lamar doesn't sign with Baltimore. He needs to get away from Harbaugh.

The Ravens have built their whole offense around Lamar. I think he stays. The Ravens should play the Packers in the Disappointment Bowl.

My Packers are driving me nuts. Should've pulled the trigger to get Tyreke Hill but they didn't listen to me 😄
They have no speed at the wr or slot positions.
As far as Lamar,he's gonna have to take heat for this one.

Like another poster said, Harbaugh has built the offense around Lamar. Its not on Harbaugh except they need to get 1 or 2 more WR's to help Andrews. Also got to get Dobbins and Edwards healthy again. Lamar is trying to do it on his own.

Hey, they’re my Packers, too (I am the proud owner of 1share of Green Bay Packers, Inc.)! Never thought we’d be 0 for New York. There is speed at wide out, but frankly I don’t think Rodgers is as focused as he once was. We need to get more touches for Aaron Jones, that’s for sure.

I agree about both points on Rodgers and Jones. I just wish there was more underneath speed like Hill's. Of course, if you're not running any bubble screens or screens to Jones out of the backfield, it doesn't matter.
I'll say this,I think they can get it figured out still. With Laz seeing double teams, gotta make the defense pay for that somehow. I guess I'd rather start slow and get better in November as opposed to going 16-0 and stubbing my toe in the playoffs. 🙂

Once again the Ravens are mirroring Louisville on offense. It's like Satterfield is calling the plays. The Ravens have had to settle for two FG'S due to questionable play calling.

the ravens have had a new person at every o-line position since lamar has been there. constant injuries and departures. he's had no running back play in back to back years. he's getting punished in the pocket. so not really his fault they cannot block but he overcomes

btu on the other hand, lamar has also made a couple of stupid throws and decisions in the middle fo the game that cost them points where they could have put the game out of reach adn instead gave the oppenent life. but all a result of bad blocking

I think you would find that his offensive line has to hold their blocks longer than other Olines in the league because Lamar holds the ball too long either thinking he can keep plays alive with his legs or he ends up running himself. I disagree with the statement about no running back play. Hes considered part of the running game. He has had guys like Mark Ingram, Dobbins, Edwards.... The Ravens offense is predicated on the run game... much like Satterfields.

i'd think you'd find that it's the offensive line adn not how long they have to block. any pocket throwing qb stays in the pocket as long so they don;t block any longer than normal btu to prove my point here's articles over the last 3 years all saying the o-line is an issue, players are always out or retired and they have no experience. here's a quote from last articel...

"From the center on right, the line was completely different. Bozeman slid over from left guard to his natural position he played at Alabama. Zeitler was a free agent signing who looked to be a natural fit in the Ravens scheme. Villanueva was also a free agent signing that was a little more risky.

Left of center, Powers entered his third season. His rookie season as a 4th round pick in 2019 was practically a redshirt year. He played right guard in 2020, though wasn’t that impressive. Bookending the line was Stanley who returned to action after suffering a gut wrenching ankle injury in week 8 of 2020."

I dont think you want me to find all the negative articles regarding Lamar's decision making this year...

The team is built for Lamar.

When Lamar gets paid, that’s money that the franchise is putting all on him as the centerpiece. So you gotta make sure he’s taken care of to succeed.

Money isn’t unlimited, so they first gotta pay for an offensive line. Then they gotta build a scheme that maximizes his ability. Problem now is you can’t attract big name wideouts for this type of offense and you can’t invest big money either. You gotta make sure there’s a good defense too.

They’re fine and they’ll win with Lamar. Lamar is a top QB, but he’s great in a different way.

When you invest big in a traditional drop back guy like Brady, Manning, and Rodgers, you put money into the QB and hope that they can make lesser guys look better. But Lamar’s a good passer and an all-time great running QB.

They have to draft well at wideout and have good development at that spot for it to work. Sign veteran guys that can get to their spots to make it easier on Lamar to not have to do everything.

It's unreal how this continues. Ravens get the ball after a muffed punt by the Bucs and it's 1st and goal.

Now ask yourself what would you expect Louisville to do with the exact same scenario? Malik on 1st down with a zone read that loses yards. A 2nd down short pass of maybe 4 yards and a forced incomplete pass on 3rd down.

Have to kick a FG.

That's exactly what the Ravens did. It's been the same offense over and over. Lamar and the zone read and passing to basically one receiver.

It's uncanny how the Ravens and Louisville mirror each other on offense and the Malik/ Louisville connection makes it look like the Twilight Zone.

I know if I lived in Baltimore, I would be questioning the offense and Lamar Jackson. Just like many Louisville fans are doing here but with Lamar lite, Malik Cunningham.

Baltimore is 3rd in the NFL in points scored this season behind Kansas City and Seattle. Lamar isn’t the problem with this Ravens team.

That's not going to last. They did most of that in their first 3 games.

And I agree Lamar is not the problem. The team just can't seem to get him a top flight receiver or two. It's the BS offense they run that's the problem regardless of what Kirk Herbstriet says, who should stick with college football.
