It's getting scary thin. Is this a Demarco thing or fear of competition, or what?
What a crazy string of misfortune. Situations like this should be posterboarded and displayed all over training facilities as a reminder to kids how fickle a situation can be even when it seems like there's an overabundance of talent in their group.Future recruiting tells me it's not Demarco.
Major was grades. McGowan and Henderson decided to be gangsta and the LSU kid likely didn't want to be #3.
It’s apparent to me that these kids aren’t committed to any particular program and feel they are good enough to be playing. They feel they’re better, and know the best players play. I’ve often wondered why some of our really talented running backs are satisfied with sharing time. The only reason I can think of is they want to be a Sooner. If that’s not important then I can see why this happens. I’m referring to those that have chosen to transfer, of course. What a crazy string of misfortune. It went from 6 down to 2 in a heartbeat.
Most of the kids recruited at D1 schools have the dream of being pro. They only get there with playing time. Coaches must adapt by getting all players reps (where possible) or we can expect this to continue. This philosophy is partially what is making Grinch such an asset. I think the Stoop's brothers lack of rotation put us in dire situations over the years with backups unable to perform and in recruiting, as the opportunity to play was automatically limited if you were not a starter. It’s apparent to me that these kids aren’t committed to any particular program and feel they are good enough to be playing. Wait a second...are you talking about the concept of winning and keeping a position? The collegiate unicorn has been missing in Norman for far too long, good post ShamWowed...Most of the kids recruited at D1 schools have the dream of being pro. They only get there with playing time.
