Reaching out

Read on ksr where Pope wrote Wall and asked him to come back to Kentucky this summer and work out with some of the players or play a few pick up games. I love how Pope is reaching out. Want as many former players around as possible. Especially the great ones like Wall.

Would love to see Rondo come back and be a part of the program somehow but think he will be a NBA head coach before Kentucky ever makes a move. Yea ik that’s a hot take but if JJ can do it then the only player that has a championship with the Celtics and Lakers can too. He is highly respected in the NBA for his basketball IQ.

Agree that all former players should be welcome back .. unless they openly declare they came only for Cal and the school can kick rocks. I didn’t understand Reed and probably never will but he’s gone and that’s enough about that. I don’t agree with your take on Cal but if you support him that’s your right.

Cal won a title here. He can and should be welcome back.....but with time. Gonna take awhile.

Many of those players wouldn't say it publicly, but they didn't feel any attachment to UK.

Pope is the man, he understands his job well. If he starts winning the SEC/SECT and then makes final fours and wins a ship he will be a legend here forever.
