Word is that the decisions have been made and the list will be dropped in December. Anyone know if this is true? I look forward to seeing how they did the 1A teams that are so far apart and what they did with all those 1A charters.
Absolutely nothingI read an article on HSOT that they meet tomorrow and will also consider a proposal to classify traditional public schools separately. Don’t think anything will come of it, though.
I agree. Charter schools are the fly in the public school ointment right now. Some of them are very bad at football and some of them are very good at football. With a charter school it is solely dependent on who they can get to come there. Some charters are sport specific as well. IMO charter schools should play in their own league or combine the charter and private schools in the NCISAA.Absolutely nothing
Currently, the NC General Assembly is very pro school choice and charter schools. I do not see them allowing the NCHSAA to treat charters any different than a traditional public school.
Whether they actually want it or not! You're right. Folks get what they vote for.![]()
