Microphones in key locations can make any stadium sound loud
People don’t think media companies have that much power
All about presentation. Yes media companies can decide what is presented to a television audience

WVUs pregame show and entrance is embarrassing compared to other P5 schools. The music needs updated badly. Hopefully they still don’t play that stupid song by “The White Stripes- 7 nation army” up there anymore?

VT is electric from the kickoff because of the Metallica and the fact that all fans are into it. It’s all about the right music and presentation, which is what WVU has lacked in. None of the old people at VT are crying about fans getting in their way when cheering, etc.

Presentation
You can give them credit for having 60K there but you can make any stadium sound loud at anytime

ACC is important for the ESPN
They need some of these schools to lock down some of the recruits.
DMV is a hotspot between B1G recruiting against the other conferences

VA Tech looks like a happening place.
Games on TV are far different than being their live
A lot of stadiums are rocking when they are packed
I wouldn’t say VA Tech is any better than WVU.

You could present 60K at Milan Puskar to be loud as well with microphones on and turned up

The fans that tell me to "hey, sit down" ........drive me crazy. But you hear the "well they are elderly and cannot stand". Then buy tickets on the front rows! I'm old, I stand. Sorry for the rant.

EDIT: Let me add, F**K Virginia Tech.

If I'm not mistaken, we once played "For Whom the Bell Tolls" when Rich Rod was here. That was pretty cool. Could have been a tradition. But sadly, it wasn't. We sold out to techno-rap crap.

I remember getting those "seet downnnnnnn i caint see" requests.

I offer to switch places with them, but let them know I'm standing. Usually takes care of it.

What if a person has a disability and can't stand for long periods of time? And they couldn't get any other seats?

Just curious how you guys would respond then, that's all.

That great run with Rod created more demand, which led to more donations required to get season tickets, which led to our true fan base (middle class) getting squeezed out. Then The Pit gets buried.

Obviously you need money to keep up, but it cost us the heart of our game day experience.

I'd call them a selfish tool for taking the seat of a fan that could actually provide energy from the crowd. The comfort of your couch and TV is where you can ***** and moan about things nor being catered to you. But screw you if you expect me to sit down and not see over the folks standing in front of me just so you can have a view

Arrogant I see
Didn't you say you were just asking because you were interested? I gave you my honest response. If you don't want to hear honesty, don't ask the question. I go to games and pay just like those that are asking me to sit down. Same hard-earned $$$. I go to enjoy the game, they go to enjoy the game. Are you saying that my level of enjoyment is less than theirs?

Everyone has a responsibility to be a decent human and be considerate, but at the same time...we all know the environment at the game, if you can't keep up or get appropriate tickets that fit your needs, then just stay home...there are 70,000 people there, they cant all bend to your accommodations.

Isn’t there a handicapped/disabled section at the stadium? If there is, sit in that section. Let everyone else stand and yell and enjoy their time.

So it's rude for me to decline to sit down (that's what I've done before.....smile, laugh, and remain standing), but not rude for someone else to demand I sit down as if their enjoyment/money is more important than mine? Yeah....sorry for not being sorry.

It’s ok to stand up and cheer when it is called for, but standing up for the entire game is crazy. If it wasn’t they wouldn’t have seats/benches in the stadiums

I sit down. During timeouts. I do buy tickets towards the upper levels. But people that are behind me sorry not sorry.
