Sometimes the way we feel is not necessarily logical, it is just a feeling that somehow a team tends to blow it against a specific opponent. Somehow it's not meant to be beating them? That's kind of how I feel when we play IA.

Again, not logical, different rosters, seasons, though the coaches are the same. Our record against them:
17/18 - 0-1
18/19 - 0-2 (we blew the game in IA city big time)
19/20 - 0-1
20-21 - 0-2
21-22 - 0-2 (B1G tourney loss)
22-23 - 0-1

9 straight losses. Eek!

We have to go back to 16/17, a tourney year, to find a day we stuck it to IA for a 89-54 win.

Good thing we're in a tourney year this year then!

Also, our students can get in chumps’ heads, and between Murray and either McCaffrey, “Your brother’s better” is an effective and inoffensive cheer. They can pretty much just keep chanting.

The students directed a “little brother” chant toward Cam Spencer at the Rutgers game. Funny, but ultimately… not so effective.

I heard some team chanting "Keegan's Better" at Murray earlier this year. My only thought was "That's not quite the burn you think it is." Because it's true for like everyone in the Big Ten this year, and he's probably proud of how good his brother is.

Thanks. Great stats. I had seen that they scored about 20 ppg less on the road (I had seen just under 70 but you are probably more accurate.)And I like seeing the other stats as well such as FG % being about 9 % less and 3 pt % being about 6% less. Pretty remarkable., Add in that we are finally seeing actual HC advantage with the student sections...
