The defense has looked so much better but still a ways to go, guys still using thier hands vs feet and staying in front (could blame the refs some here but when you reach out of position they will call it). JQ's Defense was outstanding vs the ball screen, if the defense improves 10-15 percent more by the end of the season we will be pretty dang good.
Offense, Lowe is so important but we CANNOT count he will make it to the end of the year. We need better sets for Denzel, or Johnson to break down the opposing Defense or something to get others better looks. I noticed Denzel going around a ball screen with a lane only to pull back multiple times. We are not shooting well enough for that, we must attack.
LASTLY WE HAVE to out work the other teams on the boards, and defensively if Lowe is not in the game.
That is the bottom line, we do not have the speed or shooting to bail out a lazy defensive night.
Another note, SHOW BG and MO how JQ defended the ball screen. IT IS A THING OF BEAUTY, maybe they don't have the lateral speed he does I dunno.
