Was back in Durham in April for my 10-year reunion and was saddened to see that Fishmongers had closed. Loved that place. Toreros is still in business though. Are Torrero's and Fishmongers still there? I really liked Fishmongers.
Several posters from this board will be eating at 4pm Saturday at The Skillet. Adjacent to the Bryan Center.

You better believe it. Made a special stop there over Labor Day weekend when I was driving through town. Chicken burrito and a quesadilla had me feeling wonderful. I think the Alumni Association would be up in arms if it ever closed. Is the Cantina still open? I still crave those burritos.
I highly recommend Tobacco Road sports cafe. It is an awesome experience

Huffy, please stop by. We'll be there at 4. I'm a big ol' ugly fella, I'll have a Duke hat on that has LED lights in it that make the D light up in bright blue and white. I have not seen another one like it yet. I'll have my daughter with me as well as two of my good friends. Skeelow will be there as well. And dukehokie and his wife.
Haha, well played. The line is certainly shorter during the day as opposed to 3am after Shooters closes.I thought being drunk was a requirement before being admitted.![]()

Also, do yourself a favor and get some food at Cosmic Cantina off of 9th Street. An old haunt for every Duke student. Excellent burritos and guac.

Never stayed there myself, but my parents did for my graduation in 2006. They seemed pleased with it. Hard to beat the location. About as close to Cameron Indoor as you can get if you're not staying at the Wa DukeHow is the hotel? the reviews are so so
