I have stayed at Aloft, Washington Duke, and university Inn. Where do most of you stay after your visit? I would love some recommendations for going out to eat too. Thanks

Washington Duke is the best.

Tobacco Road Sports Cafe is really good in Durham. Also Satisfication in Brightleaf Square. Another that I really enjoy is Bull City Burger & Brewery.

Torero's is still there....

I've never eaten at Fishmongers....that's on Main St., isn't it?

It was right by Torero's if I'm not mistaken. I loved those 2, Bullocks, and Cosmic Cantina.

Several posters from this board will be eating at 4pm Saturday at The Skillet. Adjacent to the Bryan Center.

I don't think I will be able to sit and eat, but I am going to try to pop in and say hello to you guys if I can.

Is the Cantina still open? I still crave those burritos.
You better believe it. Made a special stop there over Labor Day weekend when I was driving through town. Chicken burrito and a quesadilla had me feeling wonderful. I think the Alumni Association would be up in arms if it ever closed.

I thought being drunk was a requirement before being admitted. ;)

Huffy, please stop by. We'll be there at 4. I'm a big ol' ugly fella, I'll have a Duke hat on that has LED lights in it that make the D light up in bright blue and white. I have not seen another one like it yet. I'll have my daughter with me as well as two of my good friends. Skeelow will be there as well. And dukehokie and his wife.

@dmxox21, have you checked out the Millennium Hotel? Just off West Campus.

Also, do yourself a favor and get some food at Cosmic Cantina off of 9th Street. An old haunt for every Duke student. Excellent burritos and guac.

And Foster's Market is a wonderful place to get some breakfast the morning after the game:

How is the hotel? the reviews are so so

Never stayed there myself, but my parents did for my graduation in 2006. They seemed pleased with it. Hard to beat the location. About as close to Cameron Indoor as you can get if you're not staying at the Wa Duke

This is also another option, assuming it has reopened after construction:

I stayed there in 2011, and it wasn't bad. It's right on West Campus and caters to the business school. Worth looking into. Not many people seem to know about it, and the rates are really fair. I didn't even know it existed when I was an undergrad.
