Square?

PayPal??

Others???
Have used Square mobile for 7 years and moved the store POS to Square four years ago. Pay 2.75% for transactions. It's as good as any plus no contracts. Deposits are in bank next day. We have less than 200 SKU so it fits nicely for us.

Your search should also consider average transaction, ours is a little less than $40. If your average is higher as in remodeling or construction there may be a longer hold on funds,

i have a fledgling weekend landscaping business.

some jobs are $40, some are $800.

majority in the $50-200 range.

i saw that PayPal devices/service hold funds for many days or weeks if it is several hundred dollars.

would like to avoid that...

You want to pass on the interchange fee transparently? You're getting guaranteed funds without having to drive to the bank. Sure, you can't evade taxes by hoarding cash, but you can just nudge your prices a few bucks to hide what you're doing.
