Sooners desperation showing? 2* (319th rated JC player) recruited by Zona, Akron, Utah St and the like. He immediately jumped all over the Sooner offer. Puzzling why Sooners have dropped this far to be recruiting 2*s.

Let's hope Bob is trying to recapture what made OU great during the first half of his tenure at OU....finding those diamonds in the rough and turning them into true gems on the field. Lord knows much of the truly elite talent they are going after isn't panning out. Still hope Kelly will pick the Sooners though. So all hope is not lost for Kish.

It's hard to figure out what this new offer/acceptance means. Up and comer, or plugging a hole to see what happens. Say one thing for Bob Stoops, he will take chances and isn't afraid to fail.

Both of the Lakawana linebackers are small but really quick. Neither will be here in the spring. My guess is that they will play a lot of special teams at first. Beal is a pass rush specialist. Nice frame to add a few pounds. Michigan State recruited him out of hs until they saw his grades.

They lost their last game 2 to 0 to end and 8 and 2 season. So I do not think defense was their problem.

I think their last game was a forfeit due to some discipline from an earlier game. Lackawana had some dudes that left the sideline during a brawl, so the coaches told them they were gonna be suspended the last game, effectively resulting in a forfeit.

I don't think the 2 points was actually contested, it was an empty snap returned for a safety.

A big character move on behalf of Lackawana's coaches, IMO.
