Reddish shooting woes followed him to Atlanta

Looks like Atlanta is now bringing him off the bench.
He is rebounding well but may need to play on the wing instead of shooting guard.
Parker should be CPOY if he keeps playing like has started the year.

I've been thinking all along that he's an eye test all star. His form, size and a few clutch daggers have everyone still hoping. It will be a damn shame if he can't get more consistent.

Its still way premature IMO to get down on Cam's future at the pro level. However after his less than stellar year at Duke amidst all the hype, cannot say I am surprised. Pulling hard for him though....OFC

It's confounding because the tools are obviously there.

Is he not putting in the work? I mean I hate to question the work ethic of one of our own but shooting usually improves with reps. Getting up 500 shots a day or whatever. I know once the season starts that can be tough with the travel schedule and everything but you have to figure it out. Because those percentages are ridiculous.

He needs time in the G - League. Cam did not get a chance to develop a complete game during his time at Duke. The best opportunity was during Zion's injuries period.

I wish him the best, but he's two years away.

If you watch him, it's just like how he was in college. He physically looks like he belongs out there, at 19 years old. He has the dream body for an NBA star: tall, long, athletic, etc..

He just cannot put the ball in the hole and still commits dumb dribbling turnovers. His defense is already good, he has the chance to develop into an All- NBA type defender.

The Hawks clearly thought highly of him during preseason and training camp, he had been starting for them, and they are a team trying to make the playoffs.

Cam wasn't a good shooter in high school, I don't know why this surprises anyone. He's a great defender and his form looks picture perfect. But his shooting percentages have never been impressive. He shot 29.7% from 3 in the EYBL games (43 for 145).

I was at the Blazers/Hawks game last night. Reddish didn’t play much and he looked timid on the floor. His confidence is definitely low.

Trent Jr. and Parker looked good.

He was a big factor in the 23 pt comeback against Louisville and hit a big time shot in the waning moments against UCF also. I certainly hope Reddish is able to come around and be a big factor for the Hawks in future games!

There isn’t much more to add than what has already been said. Cam is a scouts dream....physical tools through the roof, picturesque form and a great personality.

Unfortunately, those things can only take you so far.
