They're so frustrating though we're all used to their ways. Spend money all the time on new features in the ballpark and trade off their best players prior to free agency. This rinse and repeat "rebuilding cycle" is BS. Good move trading off Frazier, leading HR hitter on last year's team for a team that cant manufacture runs. Got too impatient on Encarnacion for an over the hill Scott Rolen while Edwin is one of the best power hitters in the game. Overrated Homer Bailey got paid based on 2 no hitters and solid at best numbers. That money should have gone to Cueto or to acquire an impact bat in the lineup. I don't understand for the life of me the logic of our #1 prospect Robert Stephenson being optioned twice to Louisville after quality starts in a season only 2 1/2 weeks old. Logic doesn't imply to Cincinnati, if it did, our best prospects like Stephenson and Peraza would be called up to jump start the future rather than it being on hold. Cincinnati is too conservative with prospects. Who the hell heard of this Tim Melville before the pitching injuries? Wouldn't be here if they wouldn't have demoted Stephenson. It was funny hearing Matt Jones blast JJ Hoover and Jumbo Diaz a couple days ago.

Lifelong Reds fan who finally had enough. I won't be watching any more games until they are actually good. Been fooled way too many times. The entire organization is a train wreck and has been for many, many years.

8-8 with Votto batting .150.
4 potential starting pitchers on dl but Bailey pitched a rehab in Louisville today and Descafini and Lamb are both close too.
162 gms.
Ran into the best pitcher in baseball tonight.
Had not been no hit in reg season in 45 yrs.
Dont be a quitter!#

Reds got some more pain coming this year! What do you expect when Cueto, Frazier and company are shown the door?

Bullpen is awful, offense is mediocre. Finnegan could have duplicated his performance at Wrigley last week and their still going to lose with these offensive woes.

Well said!

My dad calls the Reds best farm team in baseball. The other MLB teams love the Reds! Just as you start to get good and develop, we'll trade ya or sell ya for dirt cheap. Best farm system in the majors!

I'm stubborn and root for my team even when they are terrible like the Reds the last few years. I'm also a Dolphins fan. I thought it was a mistake firing Dusty. I think Price can be good as he learns more about being a manager in the majors. However the team is terrible and in full rebuild mode. The young pitchers have potential, but the lack of any closer what so ever is going to kill them all year. Being small market, I know how hard it is to keep big name guys as they get to free agency. They have one good closer prospect in the minors, they might as well call him up now because Diaz and Hoover bother have been abysmal. 60 wins may be optimistic this year....I'll still go to a lot of games because I'm a glutton for punishment, but I love going to games.

I'm a long time, long suffering, Cubs fan and I am enjoying seeing us put the beat down on teams rather than the other way around. Hopefully we've gotten a couple of bats woken up and can continue to play well. Go Cubs Go!!!

Reds should just become a minor team. An abomination. Dear lord can't wait for football.

In 2012 the Reds won 97 games (although they choked big time in the playoffs to SF) and now, just 4 short years later, might be the worst team in MLB. Just what the hell is going on with this organization??

They should just shut down the Reds. No body shows up at the games and they been awful forever. As a Giants fan I look down on teams like the Reds.

I would hate for SF to only draw 16k if that a game.

To be fair to Price and the Reds, they are actually only 1 game under .500 despite playing 13 of 19 against Chicago (7) and St. Louis/Pitt (6). Playing better than I expected, and still have Descalfani and Bailey coming off the DL in the next month or so.

But boy, they have taken some *** whippings so far this year (bullpen is just beyond terrible)

Their offensive guys do not have bad skills at the plate - but they may need a little help with some of their approaches...but that bullpen and pitching staff - whew
