does anyone have a bead on who of the new class would be redshirting and who would be playing next season as true freshman?
just curious. thx

A lot of water has to go under the bridge before anyone(even the coaches) could begin to guess that one. Stoops will probably play anyone that he thinks has any chance of helping to any degree. If any of the early enrollees can play a lick they are likely to see the field somewhere.
I agree with him too, but in reality next year it is win if you can whatever you have to do.I'll go a step further and say that we should get these guys signed, sealed, and delivered on NSD before we speculate who may or may not redshirt. I do agree with Kybluedude that we need to RS as many as possible.

You do make a good point. I just hope Stoops and staff don't burn a bunch of RS's in desperation in trying to win the requisite number of games.
I think Kash Daniel will play from day one somewhere, special teams if nothing else. If the JUCO QB doesn't come then it is a fair bet that Hoak plays before the year is over. Jackson is less likely to play because of the position he plays but don't count him out.I would think young, rose, and smith (if we get him back ) will play. Hopefully the rest of the freshmen can rs. Bringing in jucos should help for that too . I'll bet one of the corners gets on the 2 deep though and plays as well.
I think you're right about Kash. He plays at a position where freshmen can step in immediately that we lost three seniors from. And he brings an intensity and leadership this team could use. We have a lot of linebackers on the field and we use back ups a lot and there are special teams.
