You ever see this guy play? Wonder how good he actually is. Jerad Cater or Shagari Safari level or does he have potential?
I saw him play once in high school. He played good in the game, but I don’t know enough at all to know how good he is currently

I’m ok with it, but it seems like a bit of an odd addition positionally.

If we’re gonna add another player, it sure seems like a point guard would make the most sense. We’re already over-stacked at the center spot.

I think he will be scholarship player if he comes here

We can have 15 scholarship players with new rule?

He should be able to give challenge in every practice
I believe it is 15 yes. I know at that point they have to do something with revenue share or something. 12 is standard, but it goes to 15. I can’t remember what changes when they go above 12.

If we get Potter, do not think pope will be done

A guard practice player/development piece/mid major senior could still be added

Remember we only have 12 players (assuming Oweh and Lowe return to college)

averaged about 7 and 4 in 17 minutes per game for Miami of OH this past season...saw them play a couple of times but don't recall him honestly
17 minutes a game is decent playing time. He could be a long term piece to develop, or maybe even a redshirt candidate.

Practice piece...

Moreno looks way better than him already

But if we have major injuries in frontcourt next season, Potter could be playable to have 5-10 mins...

I think it makes perfect sense. He’s a 7’2 guy who’s largely under the radar and can add a lot of depth especially since we don’t know about JQ. He’s willing to be at the end of the bench and did fairly well in 17 minutes per game. I don’t care what our needs are you don’t turn that down. We can still add a guard.

He has enough experience to help out in a pinch. As a 13th, 14th, 15th man on the team we could probably do a lot worse than Potter. Lets hope it happens. Also, probably fulfills a lifelong dream. A guy we can all root for.
Yes, he is not good enough to be top 10 man in a top 10 team, but he is way better than most walkon/practice players/development pieces

I am sure a ton of schools could use a 7-2 guy that can shoot the three. It would be good if he RS to work on body some and get acclimated and have two years left to play. Still hope we get another fast 1 for depth.
Almost 40% from 3 for his career on over 90 shot attempts. Not too bad for the 13th option.
