Reed personally told me he had zero thoughts of coming back once cal was gone. He loves cal.

2. It's his college coach. I'm really amazed how surprised some people are that former players still support Cal, no matter where he coaches. It's a little odd to rock both school's gear (I would sooner just be neutral and wear nothing for either), But people seem to misunderstand just how important the coach can be for most of these guys, where the school might be secondary, especially for a player who was just there for a year.

Yeah but this isn’t some random player from Maryland. This is a legacy Wildcat from here. He definitely knows the optics of this.

This is exactly right. I laugh every time people act like Reed and his parents secretly disliked Cal despite literally everything they’ve said publicly being to the contrary.

I definitely don’t wish him ill will over this because it’s not that big but it is super weak sauce.
I could maybe hate it less if he wasn't wearing the Ark above UK. I never liked him anyway. Trent and Travis seem way more genuine. They will give us more in the long run.
