What was Reed ranked in high school? Now compare that to Feldhaus.

That's worthy of a "yawn", but you and others will sit through 26 losses from Pope, including at least half of those being blowouts, where's we've literally been outscored by high-major opponents over the course of two full seasons, and you're okay with that?

I had one of my former players play for one of my most hated college teams. I wanted him to do well, but I also still wanted them to lose every game. Never once even considered wearing anything from that school.
If he has a similar season next year (same record) but makes it to the Sweet 16 , you'd be happy with that?
Personally, a Sweet 16 isn't much of an accomplishment. It's usually 1 win against a team that can't play dead, and depending on your seed, a win against an average team.
I wasn't happy with the season but I'm not saying fire him. You can construct a decent team with portal players. Last year was bad construction I'm not going to say it wasn't.

Reed was a 5 star. He would’ve been a pro player o matter where he was from.
Kentucky is a terrible state for producing high end basketball talent and has been this century. Since 2010, one Kentucky Mr. Basketball has played in the NBA - Reed Sheppard. Since 2000, it’s two - Reed and Darius Miller
Other Mr. Basketballs over that time went to Bellarmine, EKU, WKU, NKU, Boston U, and several ended up at places like Wyoming and IUPUI after transferring out of UL or UK. We produced some good football and baseball talent, but probably peaked in the 1970s for basketball talent.

It was a blast this year seeing the Cats beat Arky on their own floor. And, yet, I have no problem with Reed supporting his old coach. If Jeff wore a Minnesota shirt to support Tubby when Tubby left, that would have been fine. Jeff wearing a Celtics jersey to support Pitino would have been fine.
I loved reed’s game at UK and really enjoy watching what he is doing in the NBA. UK player and Kentucky kid. Son of a UK NC hero. He may be my favorite NBA player.

The disdain for Reed is unwarranted by some people here.
It’s funny. Out of a recruting class with 4 guys rated higher than him hes going to be the best one by far.
He’s going to end up as one of the greatest 3 point shooters the game has ever seen. He’s close to 40% on 7 attempts per game.
If i had to go back and re rank them i’d go
