We just had a true freshman qb gain over 400 yards of total offense...and a kid that is really a year behind a true freshman in terms of qb experience. We have our guy for the next 4 years...once the right bodies and minds get put around him, this thing will turn around in a snap...I can imagine 2020 we lose an early season game and every freaks out, and then we win 10-12 in a row and everyone says I told you so. Tommy F...was our last True Frosh to start and was inferior in every way to AM except the personnel around him.

Let me clarify...what AM is doing is even more impressive because he had to start the season not get eased in.
Adrian Martinez is in completely uncharted territory if starting the season opener is the metric you're using: Frazier didn't start until the 6th game of the season at Missouri in 1992.

I don't get all the sky is falling bs. This kid is going to be special. We have a potentially great player at the most important position on the team. I wonder how well he will do, when the line is improved.
