might as well go to bed
Mines already set to record, 45 minutes extension because SEC games take forever. Every game I haven’t checked the forum or watched live with guys out we have won. I’m keeping the mojo up. I believe in our boys to bring it and push thru for a tough win regardless.

Hopefully Austin out does the terribleness of Shows this game. Kimble is literally a crap shoot but I hate seeing 50% from a ref when we have such a better % overall. Shows is actually not bad historically, but bad for us this year. To be fair we sucked and were hurt at Ole Miss, and Ohio State was the worst game we played at relative full strength. I thought a lot of Ohio State was badly called though and he was a reason why.

I knew we’d get him, hadn’t seen him on any sec games today. He reminds me of the 80s guys wearing the striped softball shorts around in public settings.

50% is a terrible stat for a ref, at least so far as UK is concerned. We hover right around 75% for most of the good refs. Shows, Adams, Sirmons, Valentine and a couple of our other favorites sit around 70-75%. Anything lower than that is very bad.

For example -

John Higgins is 44%
Roger Ayers is 50%

I think since we don’t have cal he won’t be as bad as we remember him being
You would think, but man that Ohio State game he was bad and so was the crew. Made me question a couple times this year whether it was Cal or not. He got calls against us in Rupp this year somehow.

Exactly and we all know his 44% is from beating Southwest Appalachian State by 50.

I'm a huge ref fan so I'm pumped for this. I'm hoping for at least five reviews and five incredibly energetic and exaggerated charge calls.

Why is this a thread? I’ve never once paid attention to who’s officiating a game

That’s like betting on a horse without looking at who is the jockey
