Tech failed to do the basics, which is why they lost. That’s why they’re Texas Tech

I think the better team in that game lost. And the refs weren't the reason.

Florida hits a 3.

Game momentum swings on a bad call with 2+ minutes left and Tech fails to convert.


If he hits those 2 shots. It’s an 8 pt lead and we forget all of this.

Yeah, the officiating was not that great in that game, that one play where a tech player crashed over a gator for a rebound and they called the gator for a foul was crazy bad.

Thought the refs were very much “managing” that game, in a way we’ve seen many times before.

Gets close, weird foul on Florida.

TT stretches the lead, now Florida gets calls going to the basket.

And yes, the quick whistles to put TT on the line for 1 and 1 (after letting lots of contact go all day) are part of this.

Not saying it’s scripted like WWE, or that it’s a totally coordinated effort among the 3 officials.

Commented during the game that Florida was going to have to make some threes to take it out of the refs’ hands. And that’s what they finally did.

Basketball always has the most corrupt officiating especially when a team is making a run. Here comes the “and one’s” when someone barely touches a guy. I remember some of the softest **** ever in that TAMU comeback against Northern Iowa back in 16😂

If momentum is going a way so do the calls.

Yeah I think a lot of times the refs are literally trying to manage the game and keep it within a range. Whether they are doing that for Vegas, or the broadcasters, or for their own benefit, hard to say. Probably some of all three.

In basketball, yes, I hate UConn more than Florida. Florida only has two titles. I don’t want UConn to win anything ever again.

Maybe chill TF out and stop acting so offended 😂

Only way to take refs totally out of game is shoot the lights out.

Phantom calls are part of the gig, networks and officials know the agenda

I did see the end of that game. Looked to me like the officials were favoring Fl.

Of course I wanted Fl to lose.

It’s just depending on whose ox is getting gored how one sees the calls.


And TT went into a stall with a 10 point lead. That’s not a good thing.
