Riley doesn't need more time to build. He took over a consistant 9 win team. This is regression.

Plenty of teams get a new head coach and see immediate improvement.
We are in year 3 with Riley and he hasn't once looked as good as an also poorly coached Pelini team.

Wisconsin gets a new head coach every .0003 years and they're always in the top 20. Riley has no excuse for this regression.

Again, we were a consistant 9 win team. We wanting to change staffs to give us enough to get over the hump.

I wish this would have worked out.

Just don't fire Riley until we have a better coach ready to sign.

Yep this will be 2 out of 3 years that Riley will have a losing record.. Not gonna cut it. We are quickly becoming a Big10 bottom feeder and that is scary. Michigan St. beat Michigan tonight, PSU is strong, Purdue looks improved and we're just regressing.

Even Movie Smith in Illinois starting a team of Freshman. They're bound to be a threat in 2-3 years
