Remember the end of Alabama Auburn? Ga Tech just did it to FSU.

They half blocked a 56 yard FG Seminole attempt with the snap coming at :06. THe LOS was the 39 YL. It went downfield to the 22 YL and half the defenders were waving at each other to not touch the ball. So was HC Paul Johnson. But a smarter DB ran back to pick up the ball on the defensive right hash, headed to the left sideline, picked up some blockers, made two guys miss and ran 78 yards to win it.

FSU is undefeated no more.

Not that I want to say anything good about u$c (other than those sweaters of course) but not only are they beating the Utes, they are "stealing their women & raping the visitors horses" !

I was just going to post that. USC is up 42-17 with five minutes left and after an interception, they have fourth down on the Utah 20something.

There was somebody who had Utah ranked number on one of the talking head shows earlier today. The bookies knew something. The first time in anybody's memory that a team ranked third in the country was a betting underdog facing an unranked team.

I'm guessing that after tonight, people will see the new USC HC and start voting for them again. They don't usually need much excuse.

USC shanked the FG attempt, but still lead 42-17 with 4:57 left.

Elsewhere, Ole Miss is pounding A&M 23-3 and the Aggies pulled Allen, their starting QB. But instead of Kyler Murray, they put in the juco transfer from Blinn that I never heard of and can't spell.

Ole MIss is in the four minute drill with a little more than that left.

Kentucky was getting beat pretty good by Miss State. It's 35-16 Bulldogs at the end of the 3rd. MSU just had a pick six called back on a roughing the passer call.

LSU is up 28 on Western Kentucky, which isn't great, but was 6-1 coming in. Just became a final.

Ohio State 42- zip against Rutgers late third.

Northwestern beat Nebraska by two. Indiana hung around with Michigan State for a while in East Lansing but horrible kicking did them in and the Spartans pulled away.

WVU plays in Fort Worth Thursday night.

Alabama beat UTenn 19-14 with a late drive.

Did you know that undefeated Temple plays Notre Dame next Saturday?

Can't believe they had the Ohio State/Rutgers game as the main game of the day. Is it really all that impressive that they destroyed Rutgers? I don't think it is but I'm sure they'll be pumping them and an Alabama team that struggled at home against Tennessee.

Some people watch one game It's kind of like the person who complained to the weather man about the five day forecast. If you don't like it, don't read it. But some might read something interesting in the post and then go look for a highlight.

I know I missed a couple of important scores last weekend when I wasn't hanging around watching all day. Down here, there wasn't much else to do today. It's overcast and rainy everywhere, although now, it's just wet.

Well I'm an OU fan first, but I also watch pretty much every other game that day until probably 11 or so that night. Many of them have an impact on our season.

The question for me is, due to our impressive win today will we flip positions with the hawkeyes who had a tough time squeaking out a bye week? I think 11 or 12 would be fine for the next few weeks for us to enter November.

I think we need to keep in mind that these rankings are definitely not set in stone and probably are not accurate. The playoff committee won't have their rankings out until early November and I expect us to be in the 9 - 12 range at that time. At least I hope

Plano, thank you for posting it. Yes, people who go to games on Saturday or are out on the town do not have televisions with them.

The ending to the FSU/GT game compared to of the Alabama / Auburn game is a bit different. That Iron Bowl ending in 2013 was as rare as hen's teeth and one for the ages. But still, what a great way to knock off FSU!
